Chandigarh, April 21The Punjab Government today appointed famous singer Harbhajan Mann as the chairman of the District Planning Board, Mohali, with immediate effect. He replaces the MLA from Derabassi, NK Sharma, who has been appointed a Chief Parliamentary Secretary. It is for the first time that a singer has been appointed chairman of the District Planning Board. The post is equivalent to the rank of minister of state.
